VUT INDIE AWARDS  

Seven artists, music entrepreneurs and projects were honored thursday evening with the VIA, the critics' award of the independent music industry. Moderated by Nina "Fiva" Sonnenberg, with portrait films of all nominees, a live act for the first time in the history of the award and a speech by VUT board chair Dr. Birte Wiemann, the independent industry celebrated for the eleventh time at Schmidts Tivoli in Hamburg. Congratulations to:

IMJA – International Music Journalism Award 

For the 7th time, the International Music Journalism Award was presented again this year at the Schmidtchen. Every year, an expert jury honors outstanding individual works, but also particularly good continuous journalistic work that deals with popular music and its economic environment.
